Champion Coach Inc. is proud to announce an instructional clinic for quarterbacks. The number one coaching clinic in New England will offer a 3 day- 6 hour clinic that will stress footwork, passing fundamentals, and a host of drills to make your quarterback a more effective player. This intensive clinic is only open to quarterbacks. Every aspect of building a sound foundation for your quarterback is covered; proper warm-up, quick feet drills, and drills to reinforce the proper throwing techniques.
The Q.B. clinic will stress proper fundamentals through repetitive drill work. Each day the first 45 minutes will be dedicated to a set of drills each Q.B. should perform every week. The second 45 minutes will address different aspects of Q.B. play: sprint-out, play-action passing, 3 step drop, 5 step drop, long pass technique, and avoiding the rush. The final 30 minutes will emphasize throwing different patterns and routes in groups of ten.
Coach Dick Yule will be the lead instructor for this years Q.B. clinic. Coach Yule has been coaching, teaching, and instructing Q.B.'s for over 25 years. His presentation on how to train a QB to throw a football is a simple step by step approach that any player or coach can follow in season or out. Coach Yule will provide each Q.B. with a written handout that lists the drills Q.B.'s should do each day of the week during the season.
Head coaches and backfield coaches are encouraged to attend, and learn the drills and the proper teaching methods. Space is limited so register early.
