Skip Bandini has been a football coach for 26 years and a Director of Facilities Management for 21 years.
A graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy "81" after growing up in the city streets of Boston, Skip brings the message that "street smart" gives you an advantage but being "people smart" makes you successful. Skip is known to be one of the most successful Directors in the field of facilities management due to his down to earth approach and belief in motivating peers and subordinates by giving them a high level of responsibilty.
Skip was the Defensive Coordinator for Curry College, the 2003 & 2004 New England Football Conference Champions. Due to his motivational style his defense has been nationally ranked at the top of Division III football. In 2005, Skip became the Offensive Coordinator at Curry College winning the New England Football Conference Championship for the third time in a row and competing three consecutive years in the Division III NCAA Tournament.
In 2006, Curry College named him Head Football Coach where his team had an undefeated regular season at 11-0 and won its fourth consecutive championship. In 2007 Coach Bandini's Curry Colonels went 11-0 capturing their fifth straight NEFC Championship and capturing the college's first NCAA tournament victory in 2007 with a final record of 12-1.
He brings the motivational coaching style to your audience to enhance team leaders within your organization and uses the 100 yard game of life to make your students/employees aware of opportunities in the future. Skip will also discuss the importance of giving back as he is the founder of MasterSports Inc. a non profit organization to raise memorial scholarship funds awarded to student athletes annually in the name of former players and coaches who have passed away at an early age.
Lastly, Skip has educated athletes, parents, coaches and educators on motivational techniques in well over 200 programs.
